ENOUGH ALREADY?
What does "enough" mean to you?
My good friend Chris is a producer on the 50 Fires podcast. It's a fantastic show that is dedicated to exploring people's attitudes about money and how those ingrained beliefs relate to identity, community, faith, family and the true meaning of "wealth."
Have you ever noticed how our beliefs and fears around money can be deeply intertwined with our inner critic? (Or, as I teach my clients at The Wren Way to name it, "our Inner Champion.")
Whether it's thoughts of scarcity, fear of failure, clinging to social "wealth markers," or the pressure to succeed financially from our upbringing, our inner dialogue can deeply influence our innate sense of value.
And I've known folks with *piles* of cash who felt empty and folks with very little resources who lived richly and joyfully.
Understanding and challenging your beliefs around money is crucial for personal growth and, quite honestly, feeling FREE.
Were you conditioned to belief that wealth equals your intrinsic value as a person? Were you raised in an environment where money was lavished or withheld as a metaphor for love or approval?
So, what IS enough to you? And when money seems hard to find, can you alone be "enough?"
To quote musician, Ben Folds, "When money talks, I hate to listen. But lately it's been screaming in my ear."
It's something to consider. I can help with that. https://www.thewrenway.com/appointments
